just what I was looking for
Reviews are what convinced me to buy this thermal pot. So I am writing a review based on my experiences in the hope of helping others who are deciding.
Buy this pot!
I wanted a simple thermal pot that worked. My plan is to take it on trips and make coffee directly into it. The hassle of hauling a pot, cone filter, filters, mug, and coffee (and maybe an immersion heater) is offset by enjoying a liter of really good coffee that will hold its temp and flavor all day.
I was fed up with hotel and cabin coffee makers. They were either malfunctioning, dirty, or the coffee that came with was hideous. On my latest trip, I ended up scrubbing out the coffee makers in two different hotels before I could use them. Not my favored way to spend a vacation.
So, the simple thermal pot. This one has a glass liner, holds a liter (34 oz) and has a simple screw on lid. Turn half a turn to open and half a turn to close. When fully closed, it kept my coffee...
